ASA Condemns Violent Attack Against Azerbaijani Embassy In London

The Azerbaijan Society of America condemns, in the strongest terms, the terrorist attack on the Azerbaijan Embassy in London on August 4th, 2022. Intruders stormed the balcony of Azerbaijan Embassy in London using a step ladder, took down the Azerbaijani flag and raised religious flags while shouting radical religious slogans.

It’s unclear what sparked the attack, led by a group called The Mahdi Servants Union, an extremist religious group based in London.

Azerbaijan, a secular Shia Muslim nation strongly backs U.S. foreign policy, opposes Iranian terrorism and regional aggression, and is a trusted, reliable ally to Israel.

Strongly condemning this attack, Azerbaijan Society of America will always stand by Azerbaijan!
