ASA delegation visited Israeli, Turkish and Azerbaijani Embassies in Washington DC

We, as Americans with Azerbaijani heritage wanted to thank the Ambassadors of Israel and Turkey for being trusted and staunch allies to our homeland Azerbaijan. The meetings at both Israeli and the Turkish Embassies were beyond our expectations, we were welcomed into the embassies and all of us were proud to hear how much they valued Azerbaijan. This made all of us proud.

Our delegation related our support for opening of an Embassy of Azerbaijan in the State of Israel, we feel this will elevate the relations of our two nations to a high new level.

We also visited to meet and welcome Azerbaijan's new ambassador to Washington DC, Mr. Khazar Ibrahim. We informed him about ASA's past and planned future projects to promote Azerbaijan here in the US.

At the Embassy of Azerbaijan, a wonderful reception was planned for our delegation, we met and talked with all the staff members.

Andrew Catrino and Benjamin Bottner, the two young men who were born in Baku and adopted by American families also joined our group for the visits. They were also very proud to see how much the nation they were born in is appreciated by other nations.

Our next mission is to visit Italian and Pakistani embassies.
