Happy 248 years of Independence America!

Independence Day is one of the most important days in the history of any nation. Just as 4th of July is an important day for the residents of the United States as the country became free and declared its independence from Great Britain on this special day.

This independence was first enjoyed in the year 1776 and could be possible only by the efforts made by the leaders and the great personalities. Their efforts as well as sacrifices finally paid off to become a free nation. A day of gratitude and liberty!

Azerbaijan has many more years to catch up to United States, BUT, for the 33 years of Independence, Azerbaijan has made great strides and became an influential state not only in the region but also in the world. Azerbaijan reached out and made strong, reliable allies. We, as Americans with Azerbaijani heritage, are proud of the strong relations and cooperation between the United States and Azerbaijan, we believe this strong reliable relationship will only grow over the years, Azerbaijan Society of America will be a strong bridge between our two Nations, Azerbaijan and America.
