Azerbaijan Society of America congratulates the Azerbaijani Nation on the Victory Day and celebrates the victory on two-year anniversary of the liberation of the city of Shusha.

Shusha, Azerbaijan's cultural and historical capital, was liberated after 28 years of occupation by a hostile military force. Azerbaijani soldiers showed courage and heroism in the Great Patriotic war that lasted 44 days. The Azerbaijani army marched ahead and achieved the mission with dignity and patriotism. The heroes and martyrs will always be an example of courage, selfless love and devotion to their homeland.

Azerbaijan overcame so many obstacles to achieve this win and they fulfilled the expectations of the Azerbaijan citizens, at home and abroad. This is what united us and made us invincible in the face of any challenge. Love for Azerbaijan is one of the reasons we will always rise to the top.

Members and supporters of Azerbaijan Society of America, will celebrate this important day on November 12 with appreciation and patriotism, will share memories of our recent visit to Shusha.
