The Azerbaijan Society of America (ASA) expresses its heartfelt gratitude and bids a fond farewell to Ambassador Yashar Aliyev, who has served as Azerbaijan’s Ambassador as well as the Permanent Representative to United Nations, with distinction and dedication. As he embarks on his next chapter, ASA would like to take this opportunity to acknowledge the profound impact Ambassador Aliyev has had on both the Azerbaijani-American community and the broader relationship between our two countries.

During his tenure, Ambassador Aliyev has been an exemplary diplomat and a steadfast supporter of ASA. His professionalism, tireless efforts, and diplomatic expertise have helped strengthen the bond between the United States and Azerbaijan.
