New York City Mayor Bloomberg Celebrated Novruz at Gracie Mansion

New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg officially recognized the celebration of Novruz in New York City with a reception at Gracie Mansion, the official residence of the Mayor of New York. The event took place the evening of Monday, March 26, 2007 in Manhattan. Prominent members of the Azerbaijani-American community as well as the Iranian, Pakistani and Afghani communities in New York also attended.
