Celebrating Azerbaijan Democratic Republic in America

Azerbaijan Democratic Republic, the first secular Parliamentary Democracy established in the Muslim World, celebrated by our community joining us from Illinois, Florida, Maine, Massachusetts, Philadelphia, Connecticut, New York and New Jersey. Spectacular Milestone Event, took place on an elegant ship cruising around NYC.

It was a grand celebration that made us all proud. Proud of our young American born presenters, who recited the national anthem of Azerbaijan and United States of America, along with passionate introduction of Azerbaijan Democratic Republic.

At the event, ASA granted four prestigious awards to the community members in recognition for their incredible work, support and leaderships.

Dr. Azer Alizade received an appreciation award, for his unwavering guidance and support of our organization. Whenever we are in need, Dr. Alizade rises to the occasion and extend us his help. We are immensely grateful for his support.

Also, board members of ASA have chosen three young leaders to grant them with the most prestigious

ME Resulzade, excellence in young leader’s award.

Dr. Azada Ibrahimova. Sama Mammadova. And Tural Badirkhanli

Sama is an undergraduate at Harvard University pursuing a joint concentration in History and History of Arts and Architecture, and Tural, is a graduate of MIT he was awarded full scholarship to this top university. He is a co-founder of Namo Media which is a native mobile advertising platform for apps. The company was acquired by Twitter. Tural is also one of the sponsors for today's event.
